ܒܥܐ ܐܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܡܢܟ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܟܠܡܕܡ ܒܥܘܬܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܡܩܪܒ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܘܨܠܘܬܐ ܘܬܚܢܢܬܐ ܘܬܘܕܝܬܐ ܚܠܦ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ
be' 'n' hkyl mnk dmn qdm klmdm bewth' thhw' mqrb l'lh' wtslwth' wthkhnnth' wthwdyth' khlp klhwn bnynsh'
I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men:

ܚܠܦ ܡܠܟܐ ܘܪܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܥܘܡܪܐ ܫܠܝܐ ܘܢܝܚܐ ܢܥܡܪ ܒܟܠܗ ܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܕܟܝܘܬܐ
khlp mlk' wrwrbn' dewmr' shly' wnykh' nemr bklh dkhlth 'lh' wdkywth'
for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.

ܗܕܐ ܓܝܪ ܫܦܝܪܐ ܘܡܩܒܠܐ ܩܕܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܚܝܢܢ
hd' gyr shpyr' wmqbl' qdm 'lh' mkhynn
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;

ܗܘ ܕܨܒܐ ܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܢܚܘܢ ܘܢܬܦܢܘܢ ܠܝܕܥܬܐ ܕܫܪܪܐ
hw dtsb' dklhwn bnynsh' nkhwn wnthpnwn lydeth' dshrr'
who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

ܚܕ ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܚܕ ܗܘ ܡܨܥܝܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܕܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
khd hw gyr 'lh' wkhd hw mtsey' d'lh' wdbnynsh' brnsh' yshwe mshykh'
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

ܗܘ ܕܝܗܒ ܢܦܫܗ ܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܚܠܦ ܟܠ ܐܢܫ ܣܗܕܘܬܐ ܕܐܬܬ ܒܙܒܢܗ
hw dyhb npshh pwrqn' khlp kl 'nsh shdwth' d'thth bzbnh
who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;

ܗܝ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܬܣܝܡܬ ܟܪܘܙܗ ܘܫܠܝܚܗ ܩܘܫܬܐ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܕܓܠ ܐܢܐ ܕܗܘܝܬ ܡܠܦܢܐ ܕܥܡܡܐ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܕܫܪܪܐ
hy d'n' 'thsymth krwzh wshlykhh qwshth' 'mr 'n' wl' mdgl 'n' dhwyth mlpn' demm' bhymnwth' dshrr'
to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth in Christ, not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

ܨܒܐ ܐܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܕܗܘܘ ܡܨܠܝܢ ܓܒܪܐ ܒܟܠ ܕܘܟܐ ܟܕ ܡܪܝܡܝܢ ܐܝܕܝܗܘܢ ܕܟܝܐܝܬ ܕܠܐ ܪܘܓܙܐ ܘܕܠܐ ܡܚܫܒܬܐ
tsb' 'n' hkyl dhww mtslyn gbr' bkl dwk' kd mrymyn 'ydyhwn dky'yth dl' rwgz' wdl' mkhshbth'
I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܢܫܐ ܒܐܣܟܡܐ ܢܟܦܐ ܕܠܒܘܫܐ ܒܬܚܡܨܬܐ ܘܒܢܟܦܘܬܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܬܨܒܝܬܗܝܢ ܠܐ ܒܓܕܘܠܐ ܘܒܕܗܒܐ ܐܘ ܒܡܪܓܢܝܬܐ ܐܘ ܒܢܚܬܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ

In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing;

ܐܠܐ ܒܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܝܐܐ ܠܢܫܐ ܕܡܫܬܘܕܝܢ ܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ

but (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.

ܐܢܬܬܐ ܒܫܠܝܐ ܗܘܬ ܝܠܦܐ ܒܟܠ ܫܘܥܒܕ
'nthth' bshly' hwth ylp' bkl shwebd
Let a woman learn in quietness with full submission.

ܠܐܢܬܬܐ ܓܝܪ ܠܡܠܦܘ ܠܐ ܡܦܣ ܐܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܠܡܡܪܚܘ ܥܠ ܓܒܪܐ ܐܠܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܒܫܠܝܐ
l'nthth' gyr lmlpw l' mps 'n' wl' lmmrkhw el gbr' 'l' thhw' bshly'
But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.

ܐܕܡ ܓܝܪ ܐܬܓܒܠ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܘܗܝܕܝܢ ܚܘܐ
'dm gyr 'thgbl lwqdm whydyn khw'
For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

ܘܐܕܡ ܠܐ ܛܥܐ ܐܢܬܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܛܥܬ ܘܥܒܪܬ ܥܠ ܦܘܩܕܢܐ
w'dm l' Te' 'nthth' dyn Teth webrth el pwqdn'
Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;

ܚܝܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܝܕ ܝܠܕܝܗ ܐܢ ܢܩܘܘܢ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܚܘܒܐ ܘܒܩܕܝܫܘܬܐ ܘܒܢܟܦܘܬܐ
khy' dyn byd yldyh 'n nqwwn bhymnwth' wbkhwb' wbqdyshwth' wbnkpwth'
but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and sanctification with sobriety.
